The Kribi health district includes 11 health areas including: 4 hospitals, 2 district medical centers, 5 integrated health centers, 34 health centers and a pharmacy.

Basic education

The school enrollment rate in Kribi is one of the lowest in the southern region of Cameroon. It is 59%. There are 19 kindergartens in the city for a staff of 1525 students, 45 primary schools for a staff of 9144 students.
