A total of 816 trainees officially completed their activities on 25 August 2023 in the village hall. At a ceremony organised by the Municipal Inspectorate and presided over by the Mayor of the town of Kribi, the young people were presented with their certificates of participation in the course and a token sum of money.
To carry out the various activities, they were subdivided into two waves: the first wave with 300 trainees and the second wave of 516 trainees. The said trainees this deployed in cleaning gutters, weeding and clearing arteries in the city, cleaning administrative offices etc. For two months, they cleaned up the city's streets and public buildings. As the trainees' spokesman put it, these activities are part of a training programme in hard work and endurance.
For the Community Urban, this is a gesture of support for young people and a pretext for raising awareness of the ills undermining our society and our city.
